Pricing & Fees
We do ask that our members attend Saturday practice regularly unless you have a conflict and need to take a break from kendo. Wednesday is optional for bogu members. Feel free to email us if you have any questions.
All fees go towards renting facilities for class
Beginner classes start on the first Saturday of every month. Please send an email if you'd like to join.

Annual Membership Fees
GKA Yearly Membership Fee: $30 (due in March)
SEUSKF/AUSKF: $120 (due in March)

Monthly Membership Fees
3 Dan and Below Members: $50/month
3 Dan and Below Family Rate: $40/month
4 Dan and Above Members: free of charge

Guest Fees
Non-member guest fees: $10/class

Who are we?
GKA is a dojo and community where you can learn and deepen Kendo, a traditional Japanese martial art, which descended from samurai swordsmanship (kenjutsu) and uses bamboo swords (shinai) and protective gear (bogu) in Atlanta Georgia since 1977. We have students of all ages and backgrounds. Come join us!

We are proud to announce the 12th annual Georgia Kendo Taikai and Shinsa hosted by our own club.

We also have a guest sensei, Kunihide Koda (8th Dan Kyoshi) who will be conducting multiple days of seminar.
This year our application will by submitted by DOJO either via email (excel form) or physical copy by mail.
